Hi, I’m Jill Dewes, and I live in Calgary - the Blue Sky City.

I’ve worked in advertising and design, in New Zealand and Canada, for over 25 years, on everything from brand identity to ad campaigns to website development to packaging (one of my favourite things).

Since moving to Calgary in 2010, I’ve been on the client service and business development side of agency life - which means I keep up to date with industry trends, but I also know how to wrangle a brief, a budget, and a creative team… and still keep things fun.

I started Nice One to help clients that might not be ready for a full agency. I can help you:

  • make sense of what you need (and what you don’t)*

  • build a freelance team that fits the job and the vibe

  • keep your projects on time, on budget, and way less stressful.

The benefit to you? You’ll work with one organized, strategic, kind-of-obsessively-detail-oriented point person: me. I’ll handle the moving parts so you can focus on the big picture.
